Brooke Vincent would be in a "young offenders' institute " if it wasn't for her role in 'Coronation Street'. The 19-year-old actress - who plays teen lesbian Sophie Webster in the ITV1 soap - first appeared in the show aged 11, and credits it with turning her life around. She said: "To be honest if I wasn't in 'Coronation Street' I'd probably be in a young offenders institute."
